Deliver Us From This Present Evil World -study

New Window

Katie Stewart

"God has a Plan for His people, "according to the Will of God and our Father." His Plan is to "deliver us", both for today, and forever. And, to accomplish this Deliverance, Jesus Christ, His Son, "gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world" (Galatians 1:4). The Heavenly Father "spared not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all" (Romans 8:32)."

Divine Healing
A Series of Addresses and a Personal Testimony

Scripture Annotated Version -study

New Window

Andrew Murray

(1828-1917)

"Oh, that we could learn to believe in the promises of God! God has not gone back from His promises; Jesus is still He who heals both soul and body; salvation offers us even now healing and holiness, and the Holy Spirit is always ready to give us some manifestations of His power. Even when we ask why this divine power is not more often seen, He answers us: 'Because of your unbelief.' The more we give ourselves to experience personally sanctification by faith, the more we shall also experience healing by faith. These two doctrines walk abreast. The more the Spirit of God lives and acts in the soul of believers, the more will the miracles multiply by which He works in the body... On the morrow Peter repeated these words before the Sanhedrin, 'By the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth... doth this man stand here before you whole;' and then he added, 'There is none other name under heaven... whereby we must be saved.' This statement of Peter's declares to us that the name of Jesus both heals and saves. We have here a teaching of the highest import for divine healing... I know there are a great many difficulties about this question of holiness; I know that all do not think exactly the same with regard to it. But that would be to me a matter of comparative indifference if I could see that all are honestly longing to be free from every sin. But I am afraid that unconsciously there are in hearts often compromises with the idea: 'We cannot be without sin; we must sin a little every day; we cannot help it.' Oh, that people would actually cry to God: 'Lord, do keep me from sin!' Give yourself utterly to Jesus, and ask Him to do His very utmost for you in keeping you from sin." --by Andrew Murray

Do You Really Want to be a Christian?
Or, Warnings to Inquiring Sinners and New Converts -study

New Window

Tom Stewart

2-4-2002

"For those who truly want to be a Christian, a Willing Heart is a Right Heart and will always manifest itself in obedience to Christ, when given the opportunity. "If ye love Me, keep My Commandments" (John 14:15). It is better to be advised of the difficulty of the path of becoming a Christian, before embarking upon it, rather than arriving at the Judgment Seat of Christ with a False Hope, only to be given the fearful Words, "I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity" (Matthew 7:23). A False Hope will only harden you and cause your Final Judgment to be more severe. "For it had been better for them not to have known the way of Righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the Holy Commandment delivered unto them" (2Peter 2:21). But, you need not fear that God in His Infinite Wisdom did not already make ample provision to secure to Himself every honest hearted soul, who has despaired of his own righteousness and flung himself at the Almighty Mercy of the Living God. "27 My sheep hear My Voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: 28 And I give unto them Eternal Life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. 29 My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand. 30 I and My Father are One" (John 10:27-30)."

New Window

Charles G. Finney

(1792-1875)

From "The Oberlin Evangelist" -- New Window
Sermons and Lecture
s 1839
Lecture IX

I. What sin is.
II. When it may be said, that sin has dominion in the soul.
III. What it is to be under the law.
IV. What it is to be under grace.
V. That under the law, sin will have dominion over an unsanctified mind, of course.
VI. That sin cannot have dominion over those who are under grace.

Don't Give Up On God -study

New Window

Tom Stewart

10-14-02

"When we are tempted to cease from doing right, we are tempted to give up on God, e.g., "he that believeth not God hath made Him a liar" (1John 5:10). We have no more right to give up on God than an employee has to disobey a lawful order from his employer. "Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God" (Colossians 3:22). Neither should we feel that children obeying their parents is anything but what is expected by God and ourselves. "Children, obey your parents in the LORD: for this is right" (Ephesians 6:1). In fact, we have no right to feel that we have done anything but our duty, when we did not give up on God. "So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do" (Luke 17:10). That God is pleased with our faith and right doing is evident by His Word, i.e., "without faith it is impossible to please Him" (Hebrews 11:6), and by His rewards, e.g., "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the Crown of Life, which the LORD hath promised to them that love Him" (James 1:12). But, His punishment for unbelief, disobedience, and wickedness demonstrates His displeasure for our not doing or ceasing to do what we know is right, i.e., "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin" (James 4:17). "8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the Truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile" (Romans 2:8-9)."

1. Dry, Dirty Hair and 2. GOD's Building Code -prophecy

New Window

Bryan Hupperts @ Sheep Trax ---- New Window

11-10-99

"As strange as the dry hair phenomena is, I've seen stranger things lately in church services across the land. People tell me they have been in the direct, felt presence of God experiencing all sorts of visions, mysteries, and physical phenomena - yet so many of them that I know personally are coming out of these spiritual ecstasies largely unchanged. If stepping out of a shower with dry, dirty hair seems unusual, how much more so does stepping out of the raw presence of the One from whom 'the heavens and the earth' flee away and not being fundamentally changed? Something is dreadfully amiss."

Duduman Says Antichrist Is Ready
Concerning the third of the final three prophecies given to Dumitru Duduman just weeks before his death, to be released only at the appointed times. -prophecy

New Window

Tom Stewart

12-11-2000

"Dumitru Duduman's burden as a modern prophet was similar to that of the LORD Jesus, i.e., how to benefit people, when you know today what will happen tomorrow. 'God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power: Who went about doing good' (Acts 10:38). In particular, Duduman's ministry was to warn Americans to repent before 'America Will Burn' ---New Window. 'Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen' (Revelation 18:2)... Antichrist is that most infamous deceiver who, Duduman's prophecy declares, 'will come with a lying tongue and deceiving words,' appearing prior to 'that great and notable day of the LORD' (Acts 2:20). 'Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that Man of Sin be revealed, the Son of Perdition' (2Thessalonians 2:3). Antichrist the man works with his evil cohort the Devil, devising and scheming to bring about Satan's own version of the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ, complete with Israel back in the Land of Promise along with its Temple; but, unbeknownst to this insidious cabal is that the Almighty ordains to use them 'to do whatsoever [His] hand and [His] Counsel determined before to be done' (Acts 4:28). 'Surely the wrath of man shall praise Thee: the remainder of wrath shalt Thou restrain' (Psalm 76:10). The LORD prophesies through Duduman, 'Dark days are soon coming upon the earth. Days of mourning and great sadness.'"
