Definition:
The 5th Trumpet Judgment (Revelation 9:10) is designed to wear men down
with pain. God has ordained pain and sorrow for the benefit of man. Since the Fall,
God has established this sorrow as a means to give man the incentive to seek God.
"Cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou
eat of it all the days of thy life" (Genesis 3:17). Pain will not reform
man, but it may bring him to the Only One Who Can Help-- Jesus Christ.
